Join us to make an historically accurate 1860's corset! This is using the Redthreaded gored corset pattern which is a reprint from the time period. This is perfect to wear under your mid Victorian era gowns, or on its own (if that's your thing!). We will be attempting to complete the garment over the weekend and will have multiple sewing machines available for use, along with other sewing supplies. To keep costs down, we'll be buying corset boning and lacing in bulk. You will need to procure your own busk in your appropriate length (contact for details on measuring). It will be a fun weekend and great learning opportunity for all of us!
