Join us to make your own 1950's style poodle skirt (with or without a poodle)! A simple garment to make, this workshop is appropriate for beginners and intermediate people alike! The fun really comes in how to decorate your skirt, and as you will see, there were many different designs, not only poodles.
We will meet at Joann fabrics on Gunbarrel Road to pick out our fabric, then head back to the dance studio to do our cutting, sewing, and decorating. You should take home a skirt by the end of the session!
This lesson is free with your ticket to the Sock Hop, or $10. Basic sewing supplies will be provided, but if you have your own, please feel free to bring them.
